- Drama Direct’s Valerie Bolton
- Drama Direct’s John Baxter and delegates
- ‘I never thought we’d have so much fun!’
Drama Direct’s Inset Leader John Baxter and fellow practitioners Valerie Bolton and Robert Souslby-Smith, enjoyed a most exciting and rewarding day at Redby Primary School. All delegates were highly enthusiastic and complimentary about the work undertaken by Drama Direct, agreeing that this had been a most worthwhile Inset.
A number of delegates admitted that after feeling a slight degree of apprehension at the start they were absolutely delighted by the way they were immediately put at ease by the friendly, non-threatening and highly professional approach that John, Robert and Valerie adopted to their work.
Drama Direct would like to extend a big thank you to Val Shield, Headteacher of Redby Primary, who created the perfect environment for the working day; organised the transport for practitioners to and from airport and hotel (including an impromptu sight-seeing tour of beautiful Durham) and for whom, nothing is too much trouble. This really was an example of the much-lauded North-East hospitality at its very best! Thank you Val. We certainly hope that it won’t be too long before we return!
