“The 9 Faces of John” – A once in a life time historic musical celebration of the life, words and music of Liverpool’s most famous son in his hometown in aid of local charities.      

This one off 30th Anniversary memorial concert will bring together for the first time on stage, friends and artists who knew and worked with John throughout his whole life. Lennon Remembered will be a world class, tasteful and relevant event in John’s hometown. The number 9 was omnipresent throughout John’s life and The Beatle’s artist Shannon has produced exclusively for the concert – “The 9 Faces of John”. These 9 images depicting John’s life take us through an incredible musical journey with the people who were with him from his schooldays in Liverpool through to his final years in New York.

 Lennon Remembered will feature performances and appearances  by close friends and colleagues of John Lennon

The first 9 confirmed guests are;

THE QUARRYMEN John’s first ever band who evolved over a four year period into The Beatles

TONY SHERIDAN – Friend and fellow musician in Hamburg famed for the recording of “My Bonnie” with the early Beatles – the song that eventually led to Brian Epstein taking those famous steps down to the Cavern

BILL HARRY – Art School Friend of John & Stuart Sutcliffe (original Beatle) the editor of Mersey Beat, the musical bible of the 60’s music scene in Liverpool

THE BEATLE SESSIONS – A special preview of the new LA stage musical involving Beatles recording engineer Geoff Emerick and showcasing the “Abbey Road” years

TONY BRAMWELL – The Beatles Press Officer and close friend throughout the “Beatle” years later becoming CEO of Apple Records and Apple Films 

ALAN WHITEYES drummer and original member of   John’s Plastic Ono Band . Alan played on many of John’s classic solo records including “Instant Karma” and “Imagine”   

JOEY MOLLAND – Liverpool born guitarist signed to Apple with Badfinger. Joey played guita  on John’s Imagine album including the classic “Jealous Guy” 

DENNIS FERRANTE – Grammy award winning engineer who spanned John’s New York Years working on albums such as Mind Games, Walls & Bridges & Rock ‘N’ Roll 

MARK McGANN – Liverpool actor/musician with a special performance of his stage musical JOHN LENNON – In My Life. Mark is famed for his honest and powerful portrayal of Lennon both on Stage and Film. Credits include London’s West End and the film “John & Yoko – A Love Story”
